The pool for the BIG ONE is now in place. If you are reading this, you are eligible to join us and play. Follow these instructions to get into the pool and fill out your brackets:

1. We are using the same site as we did for college football
www.pooltracker.com
go to this site...link available below

2. If you played in either of the BigFoot Bowls pools, you are
already in the pool and you only need to log in and click
on "my pools" and then the basketball pool "Lakes Madness"
should show on your page....simply click edit picks and have
fun. Your login ID and Password are, in most cases, the same--
just put in the e-mail address that you used when you
enrolled for football. If the LAKES MADNESS pool does not
show up when you click on my pools, then you will need to
click "join a pool" and use the number 31825 or name Lakes
Madness to get to our pool.

3. If you have never enrolled at pooltracker or enrolled but
didn't play, then you will need to register first...then
select "join a pool" and use 31825 to bring up our pool or
you may also key in the name of our pool "Lakes Madness".
Then you may select "edit picks" to complete your brackets.

4. We would love to have new players men or women....it costs
nothing and there is no fee at pooltracker....if you need
help getting started, post here or email me by clicking on
the email icon by my name.

5. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS 9 AM on Thursday morning Mar. 19.

You may edit your picks right up until 9 am ET on Thurs. morning...also DON'T FORGET to click on the Tiebreaker box and select your pick for TOTAL POINTS in the championship game...one final point...your brackets must be filled out all the way to thru the championship game prior to the thurs. deadline...

I was unable to find a suitable pool site for the NIT...I think it is because of the short time between team announcements and tourney start time....approx 2 days
