what size battery charger is suggested for boat battery? how long should it be charged? could you harm battery? leave terminals connected or not? Same question for waverunners?

I use a small automatic Motorcycle battery charger for my Jet Ski.

As for the boat I haven't had to use one there yet.

Shumaker is a very good brand. 6/12 volt, automatic shut off with various amp charge is the best ( 2,6,10 ect. ). Always disconnect battery from boat etc before charging. If you don't, risk damaging charging system of boat etc. This type of charger will shut off when battery is fully charged, then kick back on when needed. Once fully charged, I unhook the charger. Don't hook battery back up to boat, unless ready to use for the season.

I got one that is waterproof and trickle charges two batteries at once. The best thing since sliced white bread are the terminal connectors that screw onto tne battery terminals nad have a fitted connection in the middle. No more trying to clip anything onto anywhere.
