Has anyone installed a universal wakeboard tower on your boat? I'm about to buy one online and do it myself any tips or info would be great. Thanks.

I did a monster tower for a friend. It was easy. Take your time laying it out.

We got my 17yo son a Monster Tower for Christmas. He and I put it on in an afternoon with no problems. Take your time laying it out, other than that it was a breeze.

I have installed a Monster Tower. Others are right take your time laying it out. Also make sure your fibeglass is thick enough to handle the strain of the pull from the tower. I installed a plate under the fiberglass to make a bigger foot print for the mounting plate.

Yes, I also added a larger plate than what came with the Tower. Also, After you drill the holes for the bolts use a counter sink bit to Chamfer the holes. This way when you get a Heavy pull on the tower it will reduce any stress cracks from forming inthe Gell Coat.
