Open water PADI certified, but been away from it for a long, long time.. Live on the Lake and I'm thinking about getting back into it.. Currently have zero equipment and probably should make a refresher dive with someone for starters.. Any suggestions regarding equipment, suppliers, air sources, etc?

Yup, born in Grand Island, grew up in bellevue, UNL grad '67. Fraternity Brother was a dude named Frank Solich. Still a huge Big Red fan and hope Bo has the right stuff.. Wife is from western Ne.. Alliance.

Thought so. I went to GISH graduated in 1980. UNL in 1985. What a trip. Same home town. Remember the tornados? I grew up on Koenig St. Fond memories. My grandmother died about 15 years ago and that was the last relative living there. Send me an email at 4thelake@charter.net and maybe we can meet up sometime.

Alahusker.....I use to do a lot of diving in the caribbean about 10 to 12 years ago. I have everything but a tank. If you're interested, I can bring it to the lake this weekend. If you think you can use the equipment, then you can make me an offer. The last time I had it checked out, everything worked fine. I'll be coming over from the Atlanta area on Friday and I have a place in the Sandy Creek area.

you can also find some pretty good deals online. Leisure pro is one that i have used before and they sale new and used equipment.
