I stoppped by Dadeville Farmers Market on Sat to pick up some bait and free advice for my first time out. Instead, John offered a 1/2 day trip with he and Randy so off we went on Monday. We had a great day, caught our limit and got plenty of time for a 1/2 day trip. Based on what I learned yesterday I figured out quickly how much I would have caught on my own - ZERO! I recommend anyone thinking of trying to catch sripers invest some time with these guys.

amen on that. this is the hardest fishing i have ever done. It's great training for those days saltwater fishing and coming home empty handed.

I wouldn't say it's the hardest fishing. The fishing part is easy. The finding part is the hardest. You need the right equipment to find the fish. You just can't head out in a 12' jon boat with a $150.00 fishfinder and expect to catch fish.

I resemble that remark! Maybe that's why I have only caught one stripe on Lake Martin.(not that I venture into striper country very often)

Thank you for the compliment and we enjoyed the day very much. It was not the best of conditions but we did catch a lot of stripers but could have caught more. Good company, bad weather but good day and thank you so much for the business and a good time on the lake. Lets do it again and go after some big stripers.
Thank you,
John
