What a great story! I just watched the Kentucky Derby and was amazed at the way that MINE THAT BIRD blew away the field in the stretch...also don't think I have ever seen such enthusiasm from a winning jockey..that was also great and fun to watch. While watching Calvin and his horse take a victory lap, I could not help but think of Ernest T. Bass...was wondering when the rock throwing would begin! It should be fun to watch the next leg of the Triple Crown.

Agreed. Can't recall seeing a horse in such a big race blow away the field the way he did.
lol. Wonder how long it too the "big" news faces to find the owners? You just know they had the favs covered.

I've thought about this for awhile. It wouldn't take me much to put together some polls for events. I'd need a few days to get the hosting to setup another db after I write the modify some code I already use.

Good point, 'dauber. In fact, the trainer was irritated during the post-race interview when he said that it was about time that the "news" people was interested in talking about something other than his motorcycle accident...irritated that they didn't think his horse was worthy of conversation!
