Help. Off kilter somehow, works fine as long as slow speed ( below 15 knots ), over that and constant depth flashes in upper right hand corner and bottom stops scrolling across screen. The depth that flashes is whatever it was on when speed limit was reached. Any help is appreciated. Got book, not much help.

Might want to check your transducer - if the water is getting aerated under it, it would cause the problem. If it is a transon mount, may want to check the angle to the hull.

Same problem with a transom mount transducer on an aluminum fishing boat. Turbulence coming off the hull in front of the tranducer screws it up at speed. Same symptoms. If changing the angle/depth of the trans does not work, try moving it to a different spot on the transom. Good luck.

Cat is watching this thread. Looking for a little knowledge. We see water interupted at the sender making things wig out sometimes. Try grounding trans. mounting screws to engine block????? Maybe we learn something here.

Where is the bottom of the transducer in relation to the bottom of the toon? When I did the dealer prep for Crest pontoons, we had to have the transducer extend below the toon. If it were flush or above, there was to much aerated water passing the bottom of the transducer.

I had the same problem with a Humminbird. The transducer was losing contact with the water at higher speeds due to the wake behind the pontoon tube. I moved the transducer lower and problem went away.

One more thought - Since it was working and suddenly started acting up it may just be knocked out of line. Many of the transducers are designed to swing up and out of the way if they strike a solid object.
