Just read your article, and would like your advice - our boat is a blue and white 2004 with one steering wheel and a glovebox - what is my best choice for a proper prop to propel the boat? We will be using it to ride on water.

Better trade that one in. Based on your question, you need to trade that boat for one of the "Cigar" shaped ones. You can find them at most sporting good stores. They range in size, but most are 12-14 ft. in length. They are pointed on BOTH ends. They come with paddles and have no steering wheel or engine. You don't even have to worry about a prop! They require no maintanance at all, and you never have to buy fuel again. I hope this answers your question.

I bought one of those and it came with a weed whacker. I lost the weed whacker prop. Can you recommend a replacement

When you replace the prop be very careful - if you use that weed whacker too close to your dock you could do permanent damage. I don't think that warning is on your weed whacker handle though.
