Has anyone heard any details on anything special going on such as the clear creek fireworks show, or pier 59 doing anything this year?

Two weeks ago Clear creek said fireworks was a go and was taking donations as usual. However there has been "for sale" sign up that I just noticed and ehen I asked about it the guy said that they had already found a buyer and there was a contract to buy the place. With it changing ownership during the winter I found this all strange but will find out more this weekend when I am up there.

Pier 59 is doing nothing this year, no band - no fireworks just open.

Civic center is still a go....

Also is the guy near stemley bridge still doing his show? Tom?

I think he is. I'll find out tomorrow. I know I'm not doing my usual thing. Just us and the kids this year.

I was told by good authority that the display at Clear Creek will be better than ever as a tribute to Mr. Butler. It was him that started the tradition and I'd like to see it continue.

The Stemly Bridge show will go on. Usually starts about 20 minutes after the Pell City show ends on the 4th.
