Submerged boat found in
Logan Martin

PELL CITY, AL (WBRC) - Authorities are on the scene of a sunken boat on Lake Logan Martin and are trying to find out if any people were involved.
Police were alerted on Thursday morning when a call came into 911 about a boat sticking up out of the water attached to a waverunner. There were also life vest floating in the water.
Diving crews are in the water.
It is unknown when the accident happened, but it is known there was a fishing tournament in the area the night before.
Police do not know if there are people involved in the accident, but they will keep divers in the water.
The serial numbers have been recovered from both the boat and the waverunner, but neither numbers are registered.

There are reports of divers in the water, searching for victims of an apparent boat and jet ski collision.
A dispatcher in St. Clair County says rescue crews are on the scene near Lakeside Landing at Logan Martin Dam.
The incident was reported about 7:00 am CT today, June 25, 2009.
At this time, no victims have been found.

just saw on the internet that they think it was a stolen boat. sad that someone would steal it and then ruin it. oh well, at least it wasn't a boat accident where someone was killed..
