I have a 75hp Mariner outboard (1982 year model I think) that when underway the motor creeps down and has to be trimmed back up. It is not too bad but if anyone can offer a solution I would appreciate it. Thanks

never had a mariner, but on most outboards of that vintage, there is a valve on the trim unit that you turn one way to use the trim. if your trim quits working and you need to tilt the motor you turn the valve the other way. you should check to see that it is in the correct position.
