Just got back online. Pam told me that you came by and had been trying to call. How did the stew turn out?

I'm in the air for a few days, but I wrote down what I did in "eggland" as a precautionary measure. I'm also going to try a few variations when I have a chance (armadillo? possum? jk). I look forward to sharing ideas and to my own fresh tomatoes getting ripe....I found fresh okra and corn in Eclectic, and my jalapeno plants are producing well.

Crazy but good.

"Can-Do Brunswick Stew"

1 - can Castleberry BBQ Pork
1 - can Castleberry BBQ Beef
1 - can Sweet Sue BBQ Chix (we couldn’t find this so we used leftover grilled chicken with BBQ sauce)
1 - 16 oz.can creamed corn
1 - 16 oz. can diced tomatoes, not drained
1 - 16 oz. can Mexican style tomatoes (not Rotel), not drained
1 - 16 oz. can lima beans (we used frozen, cook before adding)
1 - Large onion (cook with potatoes), chopped
1 - Large potato (diced and cooked) or canned potatoes
2 – Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
Black & Red Pepper to taste
Tabasco Sauce to taste

Combine all and cook on low in crockpot about 4 hrs.

we use this recipe when no time for smoking meats for stew. It is fast, easy and very very good. Plus it doesn't make too much at one time. Good un'.
