My older model 75hp Mariner has a place to add trim oil with a warning label that it is under pressure and to trim all the way up before removing the plug/nut. Any suggestions as to the type and amount of fluid or oil to add. I have never added fluid. The motor trims fairly well but very slow and bleeds down while underway and has to be trimmed back up. Thanks for your input.

They sell tubes of power tilt and trim oil. It's not that much.

If replenishing the trim oil doesn't fix your problem then you need to rebuild your hydraulic arms. It's not very hard. just a couple o-rings and seals
