yes with motor off or running out of gear it turnd fine but once you get underway it becomes very hard to steer. from a stright position it is very hard to turn left or right once you began to make the turn it get eaiser

Is this something that just started? What boat and engine are we dealing with? Any damage to the foot, skeg, trim tab, etc.?

It has alwayse been a little stiff but now getting worse . It a 20' pontoon with a 50 hp mer. Never any damage of any kind and only has 26 hr on it.

has been going on for 20+ days. Take the boat to a repair facility. It could actually be something wrong that may harm you, or someone else. My. 02 worth.
