That everybody get stirred up about something........
It has been way too quiet on here from past years when we have shown our love for APCO and their unreasonable water levels they kept us at. to last year when we were seeing $4 gas rates on the lake and off.
I have never met the guy that has the party boat but know people that know him and know how much he charges to party on his boat. Being a resident and business owner on the lake he should have more respect for the people that live on the lake and realize the levels his stereo blares offensive music. Remember that offensive to you is not offensive to others. Dont get me wrong, profane music in earshot of children is a nono and should be turned off or down.
Seadoos..... I have two and ride often...... I care to go as fast as possible and be near no one. I am older than I act and my body can only handle much less than my brain thinks I can do. Whether it is a seadoo or a bassboat or another power boat there are way too many irresponsible people in charge for a few minutes or a day or a weekend.
Wakeboard boats...... I wakeboard and hang out with folks that wakeboard and my children wakeboard.... we go early and late and look for smooth water. The people that we wakeboard with care to be no where near anyone so you wont see us riding near anyone or buziing by fishermen. We do encounter seadoos and fishermen buzzing past us while we are riding or while we are down. We just consider this irresponsible and if they are too close we let them know they are #1.
Fishermen.....I dont Fish except off my own pier and that is about as often as I cut my grass so all I can say is some bass boats in motion are just as inconsiderate as seadoos and skiers are to fishermen.
No matter what floats on the lake you will find someone that is irresponsible and inconsiderate of others.
All in All No matter what your choice of how you enjoy the lake there is something or someone else that prevents our experience from being perfect.
That being said I would not trade anything about my lake experince for anything..... It was one of the best choices my wife and I have ever made and while we could be here or somewhere else or we could have this or that or we could do without this or them...... it is still an escape and I will be there this weekend enjoying everything I have and hoping to meet a new friend or friend I have talked to here but never met.

Hey Chief, nobody really, it had just been a long day and I was just trying to make a point that no matter what we all enjoy at the lake - seadoo-fishing-skiing-partying - it is going to rub someone else the wrong way no matter what level we are enjoying it at.
But Also what we can all agree on is that there are way too many inconsiderate people on the lake doing all of the above and there is no place for any of them. Much can be said for any town, any neighborhood, anywhere. The lake just happens to be our little town/city for a good part of the year.
Its all good to me as long as no one is endangering me or my family.
I am about as easy going as they come,,,,, I have been there and done that somewhere in my life I am sure....
