Troy and UAB play on Sept. 19th. I will not be able to make the game, but I sure can bet on it.

You may have to offer up some points since Troy will be pretty bruised up after playing Florida the week before.

Name the wager and the number of points you are giving me. Of course, you know my wager is for Troy. LOL

Mav went to UAB and I attended Troy. The two of us have been kidding each other for a couple of years now about the first gane between these two schools.

I just hope UAB shows some mercy and does not beat up on Troy too bad.

I figure Mav should spot me about 22 points.

Never mind Troy is ranked 44th in the Nation and Auburn is ranked 65th. LOL

I have a feeling Troy will be favored, but yes we will bet for sure. And lets just say there will be a gentleman's wager, just have to figure it out, maybe lunch at Cotton's or something.

If I were to lose can I just forward to you the BBQ lunch Rude owes me from the AL / GA game last year - LOL.

No way, I know all about this Rude character.

A lunch sounds like an appropriate wager as long as it is within a reasonable distance. Cottons fits the criteria or even Harbor Docks.

I just need to know how many points you are going to spot me.

Lets just hope the UAB/Troy match-up can become a tradition with some semblance in the State of Alabama to the UA/AU annual game.

I guess we can wait and see if Troy even has a team after the Florida game. LOL

Not exactly the Ala vs Aub rivalry but a good one for sure. I always pull for Troy, but having worked for UAB for the past 28+years I keep hoping that they will turn the corner. UAB should be improved but, with the game being @ Troy, I will pick Troy as the Blazers have been good at giving up the game in the 4th quarter on the road.

I sure hope you are right BB3, but I am real worried. I have heard Tuscalossa sends over a few players to UAB for the big games.

Poor ole Troy. Having to play Florida one weekend and portions of the Tide the next weekend. LOL

Pick a number from one to ten. Got it?
Now, multiply it by 10.
Divide that by 4.
Now add 15.

Yeah, I know that didn't make any sense. But it is as likely a number as any. One of the greatest things with college ball is on any give day, we will be surprised.
