Hey yall, I know this belongs in classified but most do not look there. I'll have the post removed if yall want. I am parting out a 1994 22' Crownline bowrider. Reason-rot on transom. There has been post here by some looking for various items in the past. Items available are - complete running engine package 454 Mercruiser (In crate). All gauges, gimble houseing, bow rails, shifter/throttle controls, trailer, trim cylinders, trim pump, seats, bases etc. etc. If anyone needs any used parts please reply to this post, or call. Again, I know this does'nt really belong here, but I figured some would be looking for some cheap stuff.

Off topic for sure but...that's a shame. What would cause transom rot in a boat no older that this one?

Transoms do rot out in about 15 years or less especially if you see how they are done at the factory. They usually have no fiberglass between the plywood layers and the top of the transom is usually raw wood along with the drain hole. I just wondered why the transom wasn't fixed. Boat must have had other problems too.

This boat is worth more parting out. Bravo 3 drive and Merc 454 worth more than boat. Trailer is kinda beat up. Mis-matched upholstery. Drive coupler spun. Back of rear seat rotten. But, there are lots of good small parts and goodies. The boat was not well taken care of.

That explains. You can get many, many years service from a boat if given regular care.
