I can't offer you much as far as repairing plastic. Maybe try to rough up the area and fiberglass maybe? how big is tank?

If it is a small hole you could try threading a large head screw into the hole using a rubber washer between the screw head and the tank. Then you could put silicone over and around screw and washer after installing screw.

Thanks to all………. Love the duct idea, like the Loctite® Plastix Bonder Epoxy. I've been on the phone with several tank manufactures this week. While most say there is no repair (nothing bonds to polyehylene?), one sent me some polyethylene to weld into place. May try this. Again thanks.

You bring me tank. I want to try to fix it. If it works, you pay small fee. If it dont', we shake hands and enjoy the company. You game?????

When I worked at a Camper Dealership right out of High School they used to plastic weld the tanks. That was the only "Real" reapir back then.Harbour Freight has a plastic welding kit. Not sure on the price though.
