Anyone see (or hear) the party boat cruisin' the river last night? Looked like fun to be stylin' like Miami Beach but it was kind of loud. Is the boat for hire for parties?

Seems like I remember reading about a party boat for hire around here but I can't remember much else. Anyone know where it comes from? I'm thinking maybe near Pine Harbor..which is pretty far from our house and I could hear it the entire time they were on the river. They finally made it by our house about 830-9p. I think they went up to Stemley then turned around and came back - rockin' the rafters the whole way. I'll bet Talladega and St. Clair counties got calls about it.

I was here all afternoon and evening and I never heard or saw anything (Stemley) like that. If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it coms from farther south than Pine Harbour. Maybe I was yelling at the TV too much.

When parked he stays across from pier 59 where a string of houseboats stay....not sure of the Marina.....

Yes he is for hire, I heard $900 for 3-4 hours.

I believe he picks everyone up at the old Marina Bay for parties and yes he is very loud. From reading on here and talking to misc people no law enforecement agency will claim responsibility for doing anything about the noise. I dont think it can be considered a nuisance until after 11pm anyway. Plus, while you are at a party on the boat (anyboat) or house party you never really understand how load you are until you get away and hear it echoing off the water or through the trees.

Im just mad that I dont get invited to the party......
