I own both a 1991Hurricane and a 2003, 22 ft tritoon Bennington with a 115HP Yamaha. There is no question that the Bennington is an outstanding boat. Compared to other top rated boats, it is evident the Bennington builds quality. As to length and HP I would strongly recommend that if you like speed that you go beyond the 115HP and above 20ft. The 22 ft is great as there is no waasted bow space that other toons have. As for pulling a skier, my kids and grandkids do not have a problem with the 115HP. As to comfort, the Bennington has it all over the Hurricane. My wife who has severe neck and back problems can not ride in the Hurricane at all but finds the ride in the Bennington easy. Hope this helps.
