I would love to boast that the Tide is far superior to the Bruins, and if we were healthy, we would be quite mighty. However, with a 3rd string backfield, we just arent the power that we ought to be. As far as the Tide having a chance to win, we all know that once you fail to recover an onside kick, the game is over. If you werent in that situation, you wouldnt have kicked onside to begin with. We all also know the statistical improbability of a successful onside kick. That being said, if Bama had recovered the final kick, would you still say that they were out of that game? A loss is a loss and we lost. We will live with that. Also, any undefeated Division I-A school deserves a shot? Tulane in 98 deseverved a shot? Marshall a few years back? Boise State this year? I disagree. You would be wasting time and milking even more money out of the system. AU will be in the Sugar. Get used to it.
