Might be pulling your leg or you are pulling ours.

My neighbor who is in her late 70s said her father was hired in the 1920s to remove trees from the lake bottom before the lake was filled. Might be a few trees in the very, very deep parts of the lake, but can't imagine it would be economically wise to retrieve them. Not many black walnut trees in Alabama.
