Haven’t seen this on Forum. The Cherokee Ridge Alpine Trail Association has completed some seven miles of hiking trails along the shore of Lake Martin east of the dam. Took the grandkids over the other day and we really enjoyed hiking the Chimney Rock Trail. This was a hike of about 4 miles. The feature is a point view from a peninsular with a great look at the rocks. Haven’t seen this view from the shoreline.

Another loop provides a view of Kowaliga Bay.

Trail head begins at the overlook on the Scenic Overlook road. This road intersects highway 50 to the east of the dam.
