feb and osms,
We too have all of our insurance needs through USAA. I am sure that Hurricane Katrina caused upheavel in all of the insurance industry. No agency was prepared for the devastation that Hurricane Katrina caused. It is very sad that any of the people who have had a total loss of their property should have to endure long waits for their claims to be settled. Hopefully all of these agencies will learn a valuable lesson from this horrible tradgedy. I am sure that many of the insurance agencies are going to have to raise their rates for all of their customers to cover the loss that they are going to endure with the law suits that will enevitably be settled with large payments.

We have never had any issues whatsoever with USAA. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is currently or has previously served in our armed forces.
