..obviously in reference to my flag at OspreyLand on CR 34....I had just put
up the flag pole on Saturday morning and hurriedly put the flag on it...I did not discover until this morning (Mon.) that I had put the flag on upside down....I quickly corrected my mistake and and apologize to all who might have been offended. My single purpose was to honor our fallen heroes and pay respect to our brothers and sisters fighting for us to be
able to fly our flags with pride. After realizing my mistake, I did some research and found that flying the US flag upside down only represented
a signal of distress--not one of disrespect. I will certainly be more careful the next time I display Old Glory!
