Spent Friday morning scouting for crappie brush piles since the lake is at the low pool cruising the shore lines in 20-25 feet of water. Water temps were 55-56 degrees. While scouting I also was trolling with a 300 series bandit. (why not catch a few while looking) Not many brush piles but did limit out on bass. Did not stop to verticle jig but diSd mark a lot of fish suspended about 15 feet in 25-30 feet of water primarily off points. Kept 5 for table fare. Gotta love this time of year. Here is a pic of my 3 colored jigs that have been producing for me this year in 1/2 & 3/4 oz sizes, silver spot tail minnow, firecracker, blue glitter.
