Hey Mack, You may want to go back aways on the fishing forum for a home made catfish attractor mentioned by "KIngfish". You can do a search under catfish attractor.

His post will give you all the details, but it involves simply putting a pvc pipe next to your dock with plenty of holes drilled in it and cheap dry dog food as a filler. The dog food leaches out of the pvc through the holes and draws in the catfish.

I am going to try it one of these days.
