I see no reason for ugly comments.  You have worked to better yourself abortion or not, and have no problems with your decision you made - as it was not my decision to make, I do not know you or what led you to make one decision over another.  Birth control and condoms are not perfect, you indicated that you at least made an effort to avoid becoming pregnant, which is more then I can say about some where today options are available, free and plentiful.

You sound like a reasonable human being who did what you had to and made something of yourself.  You have a job and are not standing in line for a handout.  

I can respect you - others on this site, not so much.
