It doesn't matter if I agree with it or not, that is just the way it is - although this King is allowing some changes for women. I have been to Saudi a couple of times. Yes, I wore a headscarf and an abya. I was not permitted to sign in to the meetings I was attending because women are not permitted to be in Military buildings, but the Prince made an exception for me. He also let me know it was fine that I removed my head scarf and abya during the metting. I had to provide a letter thatn said I had my husband's permission to check in to the hotel. I was not permitted to leave my room unless accompanied by one of my male colleagues. When we when out to eat, we had to sit in the family section hidden by screens. Some restaurants don't allow women at all. But, I didn't lose sight that I was in their country, at their invitation and under the rules of Islam. I was fine with it.
