Well here's the good news. The place is its usual train wreck and oil prices remain pretty stable. That is a testimony to why we needed energy independence and why fracking is good for the U.S. As much as I would like to see us no longer relying on hydrocarbons the technology is not there yet. But woe to the Middle East when it does happen because they will devolve back to 6th century savagery and without oil in the equation I say let them kill each other if that's what they think their so-called religion is telling them to do. That will end our involvement in the endless wars. But that will be driven by technology, free markets and innovation.....not government fiat.
