I don't have you on ignore, but you must have me on ignore. But with regard to your tirade about being able to sign up for the miltary at 17, but not defend a business with a gun at 17:
There have been many studies that show that the brain is not fully mature until age 25 for males and a bit before that for females. It was impulsive thinking on Rittenhouse's part to rush decide to insert himself in that situation, and impulsive thinking is why so many teenagers find themselves in trouble. Another example is the 16 year old that was tossing coal at cyclists and then decided to run them over with a truck.
In the case of the military, they don't just thrust a gun into the hands of a 17 year old recruit - there is a lot of training happening, teaching reasoning and a logical thought process before they are sent off with a gun. A lot of them are washed out of basic training as unsuitable.
But be that as it may, I do support Kyle Rittenhouse and I think at the end of the day, he will not be found guilty - and if he is, I don't see him spending time in jail.
