Goofy, I am happy living anywhere because I don't let outside circumstances control my happiness. As for Cobb county, I've lived here for over 30 years, raised my kids here and since I turned 62 don't pay school taxes anymore. I am merely explaining the change in Cobb voting trends and making a prediction for the future. The crime issue has started in SE Cobb and may extend to other parts but the last will be the area I live in. All I can do is vote for sane government and if the majority in Cobb want to turn it into a sh!thole like Fulton and DeKalb so be it. At this point the only reason I care what they do to the schools is for property values....and again, living in East Cobb we'll be the last to go. So we will stay put but I do plan to spend more time at the lake when I fully retire.
