Right, we had an already recovering economy with supply chain issues in which the Dems pumped trillions of new dollars that were not needed. As for my solution you are asking for me to close the barn door after the cows left the famr and are standing on the interstate. I gave my solution back when they forced through the spending despite all the warnings that it was unnecessary and would lead to inflation. Read the book on the history of banking in the U.S. and a recurring theme over and over again was that every time they expanded the money supply it led to inflation and every time they tightened the money supply they overshot and it led to a recession or worse. History....ignore it and you are doomed to repeat it.
Can't you have the intellectual honesty to admit in hindsight (which was foresight on my part) that the spending was a mistake?
