I suspect the world recognizes that Biden and his Administration are weak.  China knows they have Biden in their pocket - they are one of his main funding steams and he needs them more than ever since it appears he intends to run again.  Supposedly, Putin has thousands of troops on the border and will make a big push in Ukraine on February 28th.  He's not winning in Ukraine, but he is not losing either.  

I keep going back to a year or two ago when Putin traveled to China to meet with Xi.  I remember the picture and I remember thinking at the time, this isn't good for the US. They have publicly stated that they intend to support each other militarily, presumably against the US. So Putin has the US pushing Billions to Ukraine and now the Chinese are claiming righteous indignation about us shooting down the balloon.  They now have an excuse to attack something of ours.  

I don't believe the stories that there were balloons during Trump's administration.  No one in a senior position knows anyrthing about it, including 2 DefSecs and Intelligence chiefs.  They may not have announced it publicly, but someone would know if that was true.  Just another lie by Biden.
