Again, reasonable people can disagree on Iraq but I don't think McCain was pushing for it, just believes that we are we are and must win. I actually believe Iraq has the potential to be won and there is so much good news (evidenced in the mainstream media by the total lack of bad news).

As for McCain's age, I think you ascribe a lot of characteristics to him simply based on age without looking at what he does. If anything he goes his own way all too much for my tastes which is why I didnt vote for him in the primaries.

As for Obama's vision, I wonder if you could even articulate it in any cogent fashion. He talks about hope and change but when you hear what few details emerge he isn't about anything other than old fashioned run of the mill liberalism. There is no hope in that as every time its tried it has failed. I am convinced that he is a packaged politician that read the tea leaves, saw the sloganeering that would work and is using it to present a false front. At least with McCain you know what you are getting.
