Recall the hue and cry of liberals about the outrageous debt we are saddling our kids with this war in Iraq, etc.? Well, CBO is out with their numbers and the national debt THIS YEAR with be $1.3 Trillion or 3 times anything Bush ever came up with. Now if this debt were the result of a stimulus bill and budget that wasn't filled with so much pork maybe they could blame it on the need to respond to the economy but they lost that moral ground with the pork.

I am becoming ever more optimistic about Republican's chances in 2010. Pelosi and Reid are unhinged and BO is a figure head pretty boy celebrity and nothing else.

BTW, did you see Giethner's lies exposed about when he knew about the AIG bonuses? He claimed he only heard about them last week and "was taken by surprise". Turns out the bonuses were discussed in a March 3 hearing carried on c-span where Geithner was lectured by some Dem congressman about the bonuses. What an unmitigated liar, but then again we already knew that from his tax cheating days.

Even more telling is the bonuses were included in the 1,000-page stimulus plan passed by Congress which no Republican voted for and only three RINO's supported in the Senate. Of course all those incompetent boobs never read the d**m thing so how can we really blame them, right Hound? This whole bonus thing is a ruse to deflect attention from the real outrage that should be directed toward Democrats in Congress. I look forward to any of our liberal or progressive posters to defend this abomination.
