Another faithful forum poster mentioned recently that we all have a responsibility here on the lake. I cannot agree more. The frequency that I see grass clippings floating by my pier seems to be on the increase every year. Is it legal to dump clippings into the river? Even if it is...it is extremely rude to do it on a weekend (if at all) when folks are swimming and enjoying the lake. I'll check with Alabama Power about their rules regarding dumping debris into the lake but I just wondered how other residents feel about it.
