Unfortunately, U.S. foreign policy changes little from an incoming president as the candidate doesn't understand the establishment ways. Most U.S. policy is controlled by the Council on Foreign Relations, which in turn, influences an incoming president before they take office. The CFR is sort of a who's who organization of "people in the know" when it comes to global ecomonic and military issues. The largest official meeting of CFR members is the annual Bilderberg conference. The latest meeting was last month.

For as a Romney's VP pick, the recent Bilderberg conference talked a lot about Mitch Daniels. However, It is up to the Romney campaign to decide. Both Romney and Rubio attended Bilderberg although there was no MSM coverage of it. Most political attendees sneak into the place as to not incriminate themselves. If it weren't for activists using spy tactics to investigate the meeting, the attendees would remain unknown.

The reason the Bilderberg conference is so secretive is because it most definately influences foreign political decisions of foreign officials and that is illegal to do under the Logan Act of 1799. Enforcement of the law is basically ignored in modern U.S. history. Research it!

Many of Romney's appointments will come from CFR members, just as Obama's appointments did. The CFR is non-partisan except they do sway from one party to another depending on who they feel can be influenced to accomplish their global agenda. This election cycle it is swaying to Romney.
