BEFORE you go shooting that mouth off go back and read the post. I said "to figure mpg on boat here is EXAMPLE." I never stated i had a boat that would go 108 mph. Mearly an assumption on your part! Where do i get 45 gph you ask? I got that number from my laptop computor plugged into my boat with twin EFI HP 500'S running at w.o.t. at 5,450 rpms. Just so happens, I was in lake Ponchotrain just outside of New Orleans, not on the crowded inland lakes. So, i consider that at the Coast as you call it. As far as running over someone... I hope that never happens to anyone. As far as "know it all junkies go", I was mearly trying to share some accurate information concerning fuel consumption. And yes, I can go well over 100mph, but at the time and place of my choice, and it want be on a crowded lake. Go ruffle up at someone else.
