So I tried Wind Creek Thursday morning right as the rain stopped. Marked plenty of bait and saw some scattered fish breaking, which must have been spots. Could have worn the spots out, but I focused on stripers and trolled umbrella rigs and large spoons with no success. I did mark bait with large fish under them near Young's Island and tried jigging with buck tails and spoons. But the sun was breaking out and had No hits. Nevertheless, it was great to be able n the water. I was surprised to see how shallow the spots were (1' of water) in Wind Creek.
