It's pure emotion and irrational fear on her part, not science. That is the thing about involuntary risk. Most people are willing to do anything they are told if it gives them a sense it will help them avoid. People with training in science are much less susecptible because we are trained to look at data and make logical conclusions. You could put all the data in the world in front of most people and they will still follow like sheeple whatever the govt tells them to do. It's human nature. And while people blindly do whatever they are told to avoid involuntary risk they accept significantly greater voluntary risk every day. That too is human nature.
