What are you talking about?  Our NATO allies are backing away from us because Trump appears much less willing & interested in being united with them….. hypocritically refusing to endorse Article 5 (which required THEM to help US after 9/11),

• Why it matters: Germany spends 1.19% of its GDP on defense, compared to the 3.61% the U.S. spends and the 2% requirement from NATO. Trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have previously discussed NATO spending, and one of our sources told Axios that Trump has mentioned to Merkel the U.S. feels taken advantage of.

So as tax payers we are on the hook for countries who are not paying the full amount into NATO,  and also not spending what it is required to do on its own defense.....  Soooooo someone spends their food money on video games and their mortage on illegal drugs the answer to their pay off their house at no cost to them and foodstamps so they can continue making bad choices........
