With all due respect. Without a new business model at this location, this was bound to happen. Famous quote by an author of whom I cannot recall said "By doing the same thing over and over, how could you possibly expect different results". This restaurant is begging for a sports bar model with a Buffalo Wild wing type idea. Tons of TVs, beer, wings, sports all over the place with reasonable prices. We don't have that here on this end of the lake. Niffers and Oskars both have a lions share of the business on this end. So, with that said, the model must be so different that it will attract business from both of those models, as well as attract new customers. The lake atmosphere during the off season is sports crazy. During the boating season, there can be several ways to move people under the bridge if their boat won't fit. Creativity will generate success. I live here full time and run a small business here. My business model revolves around the least hassle for the customer as possible. Having a major upgrade to anything in your life that can take 2-3 weeks just has to be taken into account.. By knowing this, and my location and reputation, (no laughing), I have carved out my slice of business here with great success. If anyone is interested in either this idea for Nicks, or, ideas for another business, Jim's Bait shop, which recently came up for sale, give me a call. I may be a possible investor! Jim's starts with about $1600/ month income from boat storage, has a building and car wash, and is listed for around $499,000 with around 3 acres. Local owners can make these businesses work!!!!
