FYI for Dead Timbers area (and all of Lake Martin)! Sometime in the middle of last week my neighbor’s house got broken into. The burglars went through one of the windows and had stacked all the TVs and other personal items on the kitchen table. Before they hauled all the goods off, they decided to hit the next door neighbor (which is my next door neighbor). Luckily they had an alarm that scared the burglars away and notified the police for a response. We think that they were going to hit all the houses on that street and make a clean get away. Like everyone on my Street, we are all weekenders and pose a likely target for crap like this.

I am going to get an alarm system installed this week. Any suggestions?
