I totally agree. Snakes are an essential part of the ecosystem( even the poisnous ones!). In fact, I saw a muskrat swimming in the lake a couple of weeks ago. He would have made a nice meal for some snake. Instead it will just multiply with no predator higher on the food chain to control it's population.
