I may be wrong, but from what the BCS spokesman has said in his news confererence, it appears that the real culprit is Utah. The Rose Bowl by virtue of losing USC, had the first choice, and could have picked Cal, but took Texas, only if the Fiesta didn't want Texas. The Fiesta wanted Utah, so Texas went to the Rose. Call me a cynic, but I would be shocked if ABC, CBS, NBC didn't have a say in all of this for ratings purposes. There are not two polls, but three: AP, Coaches, and TV........
