I'm new to Smith Lake. Was up there Saturday and did some boating around the area and it was awesome. I haven't seen a lake that clean in a long time and I have seen my share of lakes.

What is the history of Smith Lake? What lies beneath the surface? I've heard a few sketchy stories but I have no clue if they are true or not. Any info would be great. Also, hangout points, where is the spot every one hangs out at?
