I just copied some of your various comments posted on this site for everyone to read and formulate their own opinions as to what your real agenda is. I personally concluded that it's not about water quality; water level; or SLISA. I believe that you have a personal grudgge against Jared Key or some others involved with SLISA and this forum allows you to vent your frustrations.

1. Now if they really cared about the water quality at Smith Lake, all that money they've been spending trying to fight APCO could have been used to help fund lake clean-ups as well as the Smith Lake Conservation Society.

2. I mean, what are these few developers trying to do? Besides taking a lot of money from some unsuspecting locals, they haven't accomplished a single thing that would increase the water quality of Smith Lake!

Questions from waterph - What percenta of the existing property on Smith Lake is owned by these few developers? What percent of the taxes paid to Winston, Cullman, and Walker counties are paid by these developers? What percent of the watercraft, boat docks, gasoline, home construction, etc are purchased by these developers? Who are the unsuspecting locals?

3. Actually, all they've done, is to take a few pictures of the shoreline during one of the worst droughts in years, and complained about APCO.

Comments from waterph - If I remember correctly, I do not remember seeing any photographs from developers. Those I saw were from THE DECATUR DAILY, BIRMINGHAM NEWS, and other media. And, they were numerous.

4. I just heard that SLISA is going to join forces with the Smith Lake Preservation Commitee, in order to help clean-up the lake!
APRIL FOOLS!
Nah, they still only care about getting the water levels stabilized in order to sell off all of their seasonal water lots they purchased...

5. What I don't want, is the local marine law enforcement tell me what size engine, etc I can have on my boat or watercraft. We don't need new laws, just someone that enforces the present ones. You also need people that repect each others feelings and your space on the lake. By the way, why isn't SLISA trying to help with any of these problems? Maybe they're too busy trying to get their useless land developed?

Questions from waterph - Where is this "useless land"? Should SLISA be involved in engine sizes, etc. Whaty are the real issues for Smith Lake?

6. The ONLY reason SLISA was ever created, was to bankroll the costs of a few greedy developers that were trying to fight APCO in order to have miles of seasonal water front lots become "Year-round" water...

Questions from waterph - What does the charter for SLISA say? Who are the greedy developers?

7. Seems like your empire is crumbling along with the rest of the developers and scum-suckers that are whoring out this lake to make a quick buck. HOW DO YA'LL SLEEP AT NIGHT, KNOWING EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE UP TO?

8. I didn't notice anything on SLISA's website about the "Renew Our River's" cleanup. WHY? I thought you guys care about the water quality on Smith Lake? Or maybe it's just the WATER LEVEL you care about?

9. Seems the only people on this forum that are constantly complaining about the lake levels are the developers that have the most to gain by increasing the lake levels

Question from waterph - I am a private property owner and I'm unhappy with water level management practices? I read many other comments from those I consider to be property owners. Please tell this forum of a comment where the author is a developer.

10. By the way, I own a "Seasonal" lot, so I too would gain from increased water levels, fortunately though I can see through the SMOKE & MIRRORS that Jared and his cronies have formed in order to further their bank accounts.

11. Hey Jared, haven't you heard? Your group has been denied the extension to file the complaints from your "Steak" Holders, Maybe you and the rest of the developers you work for will now take all those that donated their cash under false pretenses to a nice steak dinner. At least you should do that for them.
