He makes some valid points. For one, courting the black vote is a waste of time. They are squarely on the Democrat party plantation except this time it is voluntary slavery. First the Dems destroyed their families, then they bought their vote by offering them "free" stuff. I put free in quotes because we all know what it really entails is reparations to greedy blacks that don't want to work through the tax code.

But as for Hispanics, I hate to say this but I am not so sure they too aren't really after the "free" stuff. Heather McDonald has a very interesting piece about this and she believes based on her research that Hispanics didn't vote for Obama because of amnesty. They were also after the so-called free stuff like the greedy, lazy blacks.

But if you look at the numbers, Romney got 3 million less conservative voters in this cycle which cost him the election. I am not sure who they were or why they sat this one out but they did. The problem is I suspect that a candidate that could get those 3 million back to the polls might also drive away that many of the true independents that are fiscally and/or socially conservative. Just a guess because we don't know who these conservatives were. Maybe they were evangelicals that couldn't vote for a Mormon. Maybe they were ultra conservatives that thought MItt was a RINO. Not really sure but I do know they cost him the election.
