I know I am late, but please forget everything you have been told about anchoring a pontoon boat - www.slideanchor.com, click on " shore spike ", buy the large one - 10 ft rope- slide through eyelet, tie to each of the outside toons, and forget it. Your boat isn't goinh anywhere - I beach mine at any beach on Martin, and unless a tidal wave comes in it does not move. Check it out and you will not be sorry. GUARANTEED!!!!
